Over the Easter holidays our apple, bacon & cheese bone shaped biscuits will be transformed into Rabbits !
The bacon we use is trimmed so no fat goes into the mixture. The cheese we use is reduced fat Cheddar which makes them low in fat. This recipe also uses fresh apples which are pureed to form an apple sauce; this gives a natural sweetness so there is no need to add any sugars. Again as with all our recipes we use light Rye flour which is wheat free and low in gluten.
The biscuits will keep in an airtight container for 12 weeks and will freeze for up to 4 months.
