Our apple, bacon & cheese biscuits are another firm favourite and smell divine when cooking!
The bacon we use is trimmed so no extra fat goes into the mixture. The cheese we use is reduced fat also making the overall fat content lower.
This recipe also uses fresh apples which are pureed to form an apple sauce; this gives a natural sweetness so there is no need to add any sugars.
Again as with all our recipes we use Rye flour which is wheat free and low in gluten.
These biscuits are also bone shaped which measure around 2.5 inches in length. The biscuits will keep in an airtight container for 12 weeks and will freeze for up to 3 months.
